Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has Peter Parker and Miles Morales stepping up massively, not just to free Peter from the alien symbiote, but to stop Harry as Venom. Thankfully, Harry isn't dead at the end of the game, offering Peter and Co. hope there's a way to save a comatose Harry.
