Vampires have been a part of the Marvel Universe as soon as the Comics Code Authority relaxed its rules banning vampires from comics in the early 1970s (Marvel introduced Morbius almost the instant that the rules were relaxed), but outside a handful of storylines, vampires and the greater Marvel Universe have rarely interacted in a big way. That is changing next year in a major crossover event, "Blood Hunt."
