The upcoming release Superman: Legacy will usher in the beginning of the rebooted DC Universe movies. A separate continuity from the preceding DC Extended Universe, this shared timeline of movies and TV shows is meant to take things in a more traditional direction compared to what came before. Even with all its many changes and controversial choices, however, one element of the DCEU was definitely a standout.
