When it comes to space movies, many would cling to the likes of Guardians of the Galaxy and other popcorn flicks. Hollywood has produced a few space movies that depict cerebral character portraits. The award-winning Gravity is a prime example, which focused on Sandra Bullock's Ryan Stone, as an astronaut marooned in space and trying not to get lost.
