Darth Vader was one of Star Wars' original Sith Lords, and he certainly made a great first impression. His menacing suit, combined with his disdain for anyone who opposed him, automatically placed him in the upper echelon of movie villains. Four and a half decades later, he's still the most popular character in the franchise, and with good reason. Darth Vader is easily one of the most powerful Sith in all of Star Wars, and there have been many times when he's put the power of the dark side on display.
