For those of you who have been holding out on the newer, more compact PlayStation 5 gaming console, well your wait is nearly over. Dell currently has the PS5 Slim Disc Edition Spider-Man 2 console bundle for only $499.99. This is the first vendor we've seen to have it actually available for order here in the States.

The best thing about this new PS5 Slim bundle is that you get a copy of the Spider-Man 2 game for free. Technically, you can get the full-sized PS5 console with Spider-Man 2 for the same price, but there's no point in doing that if you could get this smaller one.
Speaking of which, the new PS5 Slim is smaller in volume by more than 30%. It's also 18% lighter than its predecssor. The design is a bit different too. The console is now clad in four separate cover panels. The two top halves are glossy white and the bottom halves are matte like the original. The internal hardware specs are identical; the edition for sale right now is the disc edition with the built-in Blu-ray drive. A horizontal stand is included. You'd have to buy a vertical stand separately, however the PS5 Slim can stand vertically on its own well enough.
If Spider-Man 2 isn't your cup of tea, we expect a PS5 Slim console bundled with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 going live in the near future (it's already available in overseas). Either way, you're killing two birds with one stone; you save on a PS5 console, and you're getting a brand spanking new edition while you're at it.
