With Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom ushering in the close of the DCEU and the mega-franchise preparing for yet another reboot, it gives a number of previously neglected characters a chance to shine at last. As a rule, DC tends to stick to the most prominent and well-established members of its pantheon, which means multiple incarnations of big players like Batman and Superman, and comparatively few versions of anyone else. The Caped Crusader, in particular, serves as something of a franchise security blanket, which leads to the overexposure of his supporting cast as well.
