Few other teen movies have had the cultural impact that Mean Girls has had on the world, and the phenomenon is back this year with a musical twist. Also written by Tina Fey, who had penned the original screenplay, Mean Girls (2024) will see a talented new cast carry the legacy forward (with the likes of Renee Rapp and Christopher Briney) with original songs and an updated feel to the sassy characters and jokes of the original movie.
