Amazon Prime Video has become the home for "alternative" superhero content. There are more "low-key" features such as the remake of The Tick and Samaritan, but the adaptations of The Boys and Robert Kirkman's Invincible have been very successful. The latter in particular shows that there's an audience for mature-rated animated superhero shows, which is a niche that another Image Comics adaptation can find similar success in.
