The Avengers are known as Earth's Mightiest Heroes, with their roster usually being comprised of some of the greatest and most powerful superheroes in existence. These heroes include the likes of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and the Hulk, who have all faced insurmountable odds and dastardly opponents in their individual adventures. Strangely enough, the Avengers' collective main rivals aren't nearly as well-regarded, be it in the comics or among fans.
