Nintendo has been in the video game console business for over 40 years, and it wouldn't be where it is today without its iconic Nintendo Entertainment System, or Famicom, console. The NES marks the start of many of Nintendo's most popular properties as well as establishes a strong foundation that the Super Nintendo is able to build upon. Mega Man 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Punch-Out!! are all examples of what the NES can accomplish.
