My Hero Academia is one of those shonen anime that managed to grab the world with an iron fist and has refused to let go since its debut. With its combination of well-loved tropes and inspiration from Western superhero comics, the time was absolutely perfect for a show like it to hit the international stage and capture the imaginations of people around the world—which is why it can be so hard to wait for the next season. Even if there's always the manga to read, even that can only satisfy the die-hard fan for so long when there have been frequent and well-deserved breaks in between chapters.
