Netflix has released another trailer for Arcane Season 2, the League of Legends animated series coming to a close this November.

Season 2 is the second and final chapter of Arcane, which is the first streaming series to win an Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program. IGN’s Arcane Season 1 review returned a 10/10. We said: “Arcane is the first video game adaptation that’s truly a masterpiece, breaking new ground for what’s possible in TV animation.”

Voices include Hailee Steinfeld (Vi), Ella Purnell (Jinx) and Katie Leung (Caitlyn), Reed Shannon (Ekko), Amirah Vann (Sevika), Mick Wingert (Heimerdinger), Ellen Thomas (Ambessa), and Brett Tucker (Singed) among others to be announced.

Earlier this month, full episodes of Arcane Season 2 appeared online just a day after Netflix appeared to suffer a major security breach. A total of five episodes of Riot Games’ hotly anticipated animated series appeared alongside myriad upcoming anime.

In a statement provided to IGN, a Netflix spokesperson said the leaks were first reported internally prior to spreading online. Crunchyroll was affected too, seemingly to a lesser extent, as the premiere episode of isekai anime Re: Zero also leaked.

“One of our post-production partners has been compromised and footage from several of our titles has unfortunately leaked online,” the Netflix spokesperson said. “Our team is aggressively taking action to have it taken down.”

Spoiler warning for the ending of Arcane Season 1 below.

Arcane’s second season picks up right after the events of the first, wherein Jinx’s cataclysmic attack on the Council sparks an all-out war between the diametrically opposed cities of Piltover and Zaun.

Key among Pilltover’s counter-offensive strike team is Caitlyn Kirraman and Vi. Their mission is to locate Jinx, dismantle the shimmer manufacturing plants, and “neutralize” any devoted follower of Zaun’s recently deceased criminal Kingpin, Silko.

More news on Arcane Season 2 is expected during Netflix’s Geeked Week Live fan event on September 19. It seems likely we'll get a release date during the show.
