The upcoming cinematic DC Universe is still in the works, but it's clear that James Gunn intends to do DC's stable of heroes justice. Pulling from several different eras of DC's publications, the planned movies and TV shows aim to present more traditional takes on them compared to the fairly controversial Snyderverse. This more diverse source material already creates a stark contrast to the world, as well.
