Ahsoka Episode 6 journeyed to planet Peridea, situated in an entirely new distant galaxy, sparking curiosity among fans about what it could mean for the ever-growing Star Wars universe.
The second episode of Ahsoka shared the revelation that another galaxy exists in the Star Wars universe. The Pathway to Peridea emerged as the series moved forward, and this week, spoiler warning, Morgan Elsbeth, Shin Hati, Baylan Skoll, and Sabine Wren traversed beyond the galaxy far, far away to arrive at the new planet.
Viewers were quick to come to the chilling realisation that the rings of the planet consist of purrgil bones, but beyond that, there is plenty to explore. The episode confirms Peridea was the ancient homeworld of the Dathomiri Nightsisters, and there are native creatures and bandits roaming the planet's surface.

Fans of the Star Wars Expanded Universe know that opening a doorway to another galaxy is no small matter. The New Jedi Order books introduced the Yuuzhan Vong, alien conquerors from another galaxy who nearly brought the New Republic down. Those books established that the laws of physics work differently in each galaxy, and the Vong species hails from a place where the Force itself doesn't exist.
The introduction of a second galaxy has unlimited potential for the Star Wars universe, and fans are curious about the repercussions of its discovery. In particular, people are eager to know what is calling out to Baylan Skoll and the greater power that might lie on Peridea after he alludes to the chance of a new "beginning".

my crazy theory is that baylan is amon from legend of korra
on peridea he will gain the ability to take away people's force sensitivity which he will use to try to stop the bullshit cycle
he will succeed in taking away ahsoka's, making her level with sabine
My biggest question in #Ahsoka lore is how long did it take the Eye of Sion traveling in Hyperspace to reach Peridea? While it isn't often represented onscreen, Hyperspace travel can take days traveling inside the Galaxy, and the distance between galaxies is extreme.

Only time will tell what lies ahead, with two more episodes of Ahsoka's debut season still to go. IGN called Ahsoka Episode 6 "amazing", noting that it offers "villainous plots with a side of cute critters" as "the action moves to a new galaxy far, far away". It also featured a milestone moment that fans had been waiting for.
