Jalmari Helander's Sisu is at times a truly ridiculous movie, as a single unstoppable hero holds his own against everything a platoon of German soldiers can throw at him. The film's protagonist Korpi hurls mines at enemies and slices throats to drain oxygen underwater. But the wildest thing about the character might come from a real-life source.
