Today Amazon has dropped the price of the Corsair Xeneon 27QHD240 27" OLED gaming monitor to $849.99 after you clip a $50 coupon on the product page. It normally retails for $999.99. This is the best price out there right now for an OLED gaming monitor, let alone one that also boasts a blazing fast 240Hz refresh rate! Corsair's OLED panel is manufactured by LG. LG sells its own branded monitor with the exact same panel, but it currently sells for about $1000. Swap the LG logo with Corsair and you'll pay $150 less.

27" Corsair Xeneon OLED Gaming Monitor for $849.99

The Corsair Xeneon is a 27" 2560x1440 (1440p) monitor that boasts a 240Hz refresh rate over DisplayPort. At 1440p resolution, even today's mid-range cards are capable of achieving 240Hz+ framerates, especially on older games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, or Warzone. That's coupled with the OLED panel's inherent near-instantaneous response time (0.03ms GtG).

There's a reason why OLED panels are pricier than traditional monitor alternatives. OLED panels offer nearly infinite contrast ratio thanks to their ability to display true blacks. IPS, VA, TN, and even Mini-LED panels can't even come close. The Xeneon also boasts up to 1000nits of brightness, which is brighter than most other OLEDs we've seen. No, it's not a true 4K monitor, but at this screen size a 4K resolution would be a disadvantage. Yes you'll probably get a slightly sharper image, but you'll also need a much more powerful video card to drive it. It makes sense for a really large monitor (in my opinion 40" or greater), but for something like a 27", I think it's completely uncessary.

One of the best reasons to go with Corsair for your OLED monitor is their 3 year "zero burn-in" warranty. Burn-in is probably the biggest fear that prospective buyers have when looking at a new OLED purchase. Burn-in warranties are uncommon and a three year burn-in warranty is the best you'll find.
