The PlayStation Black Friday deals are now live, and so far this year has been the best, ever, for PS5 owners and those looking to own a PS5. For those of you who have been holding out on the newer, more compact PlayStation 5 gaming console, well your wait is nearly over. Amazon and Best Buy currently has the PS5 Slim Disc Edition Spider-Man 2 console bundle for only $499.99. We first saw the PS5 Slim at Dell and Walmart, but it sold out quickly. PS5 Slim Spider-Man 2 Gaming Console Bundle for $499.99
The best thing about this new PS5 Slim bundle is that you get a copy of the Spider-Man 2 game for free. Technically, you can get the full-sized PS5 console with Spider-Man 2 for the same price, so you've got the pick of either model if you have a preference.
For comparison, the new PS5 Slim is smaller in volume by more than 30%. It's also 18% lighter than its predecessor. The design is a bit different too; the console is now clad in four separate cover panels, the two top halves are glossy white and the bottom halves are matte like the original.
The internal hardware specs are identical; the edition for sale right now is the disc edition with the built-in Blu-ray drive. A horizontal stand is included. You'd have to buy a vertical stand separately, however, the PS5 Slim can stand on its own.
Call of Duty PS5 Slim Model Bundle - Now Available
If Spider-Man 2 isn't your cup of tea, there's also a PS5 Slim console with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 available at Best Buy. Remember, if you don't want either game included in the bundles, you can also just sell on the digital code for additional savings. Either way, you're killing two birds with one stone; you're getting a brand-spanking new edition console and a free game while you're at it.
Non-Slim PS5 Bundles Are Also On Sale - $499
If you can live with the height and thickness of the launch PS5 model, you can save some cash at your retailer of choice. That model is bundled with Spider-Man 2 (a game that rules, btw) for $499. That’s the regular price of a PS5 by itself, so you’re essentially getting a phenomenal game for free. Not bad if you’re in the market for a PS5 anyway.

DualSense Controllers have once again dropped to its sale price of $49.99 (see here), a reasonable $20-$25 discount depending on which color variant you choose. This is available at most major retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, and PS Direct.
Opting for controllers like the Volcanic Red, Cobalt Blue, Galactic Purple or Gray Camo is your best bet as these are some of the most popular, tend to sell out during sale events, and cost the most at $74.99 MSRP -- so buying at this at the $49 Black Friday offer will maximize your savings.
