A24 is working to bring tech entrepreneur Elon Musk's journey to the big screen, with Black Swan and The Whale director Darren Aronofsky tapped to direct the film.
Variety reports that A24 is currently developing the film, which is said to use Walter Isaacson's 2023 biography of Elon Musk as the basis. Isaac's previous biography, Steve Jobs, was previously adapted to the big screen in 2015, directed by Danny Boyle and starring Michael Fassbender as the late Apple co-founder.

Musk is one of the more well-known entrepreneurs in the tech industry. While he is best known as the founder and CEO of SpaceX and the CEO and product architect of Tesla, he has also founded and co-founded many other tech companies, including xAI, Neuralink, and OpenAI.
Yet Musk is best known now as the polarizing owner of the social media platform Twitter, which he acquired in 2022 for $44 billion and eventually rebranded to X. Following the acquisition, Musk has made significant and controversial changes to the platform that users have scrutinized, including charging developers to use its API, removing legacy verified checkmarks, and laying off 3,700 employees after the acquisition, among other things.
