If you own a Meta Quest 2 VR headset, then this is a deal you simply can't pass up. For Amazon's October Prime Day, Amazon Prime members can get the officially licensed Anker Oculus/Meta Quest 2 VR Charging Dock for your headset and controllers for a mere $9.99. It's actually $39.99 ($60 off MSRP), but right now there's an extra $30 coupon you can clip on the Amazon product page. I'm not sure if this is a price error or if Amazon just wants to clear inventory to make way for the Quest 3 (doubtful, because the Quest 2 is still being sold by Meta), but you should snap this one up quick if you're interested.
Anker Quest 2 VR Charging Dock for $9.99
The Anker charging dock is officially licensed by Meta and it only works for the Quest 2 (NOT the Quest 3). It comes with a little USB Type-C dongle that you plug into your VR headset. Then all you need to do is drop the headset into the cradle to charge it. You don't have to fiddle with any cable connections! The controllers work the same way. The dock includes two rechargeable batteries. You simply insert them into your controllers and then you're done. Like the headset, you just drop them into the cradle.
For those of you who use the Oculus Link cable, you will have to remove the dongle every time you connect your cable to the headset. There's no compatible passthrough option. If you're willing to deal with that (minor) nuisance, then this is a very elegant way to keeping your headset and controllers topped up all the time. For $10, that's a pretty sweet bargain.
