With its catchy musical numbers and relatable high school setting, Grease remains an iconic movie musical even years after its release. It seemed like prequel series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies had its work cut out trying to live up to the original. But as beloved as the 1978 movie is, Rise of the Pink Ladies actually surpasses its predecessor in many ways.
