Like its Big Three counterparts Naruto and One Piece, the long-running Bleach anime has more characters than it knows what to do with. Bleach did find room to give its best characters a proper ending, such as protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki and his closest friends. Other characters, like Byakuya and Rukia Kuchiki, also got a well-deserved happy ending, but other characters did not.
