Holding at a steady 96 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is pleasing critics and audiences alike. As the first theatrical release of a TMNT film since 2016's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, it's doing comparatively well (if not better) than its predecessors. The enthusiasm for the source material shines under Jeff Rowe's direction, offering a fresh take on the 1984 comic book. Its unique artistic style has also been noted as one of the movie's standout features; comparable to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
