When first introduced in Star Wars Rebels, fans knew the World Between Worlds wasn't just a one-off. Some hoped or feared the "time travel" element would be used to fix instances in the saga fans didn't like. Yet, when Ahsoka was announced in 2020 for what was called "Disney Investors Day," they all noticed the symbology associated with this mystical place in the title card. The fourth episode, the midway point in the series, ends with Ahsoka back in the World Between Worlds, not to teach Ezra a lesson about letting his master go, but rather to learn one more lesson from hers.
