The Rebel and New Republic fleets feature frequently in modern Star Wars, engaging in space combat in The Mandalorian and Ahsoka, among other projects. However, only X-Wings and Y-Wings appear among the light craft, except for the recently reintroduced E-Wings in Ahsoka. The Rebel fleets seen in Return of the Jedi and Rogue One boasted many more fighter, bomber and transport designs, most notably A-Wings, U-Wings and B-Wings. While X-Wings and Y-Wings remain understandably iconic, shows featuring Rebel-Imperial space battles are missing a trick by not including additional fighter models.
