Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are still reeling from Wanda Maximoff's (Elizabeth Olsen) dark turn in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Some were unhappy seeing the hero unexpectedly turn to evil, while others enjoyed Olsen's performance and the sheer terrifying power of the new her. While there are certainly many comic storylines Marvel could draw inspiration from in order to figure out where to go with Wanda from here, another lesser-known option to take inspiration from might be her appearance in the animated series X-Men: Evolution.
