Billed as the final entry in the trilogy, The Equalizer 3 finds wisecracking Robert McCall [Denzel Washington] in Southern Italy after cutting ties with the government. He's still mopping up evildoers on behalf of the oppressed. But when the former assassin is wounded during a violent encounter with the cartel, a local resident rescues him. McCall's recovery forces him to slow down and get to know the community. He soon discovers that the resident mob bosses are menacing his newfound friends.
