Although anime has traditionally been associated with television and film, that doesn't mean its impact is solely limited to these two mediums. In fact, many anime series are also well-represented in a variety of other forms of media — this includes card games such as UVS Games' UniVersus Collectible Card Game. Originally known as the Universal Fighting System, UniVersus CCG rebranded to its current name in 2020, and since then, it's released sets that correspond to several anime series, allowing players to battle characters from multiple intellectual properties against one another. As of late, the card game has focused on one of anime's most popular titles: My Hero Academia.
