The X-Men may be some of Marvel's most popular characters in the comic books, but they've yet to show up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There, the Avengers have been the priority, though that's mostly been due to legal reasons pertaining to cinematic rights. Now, a major change in the comics may see the mutants finally taking center stage in the MCU.
