That's easily the best price we've seen for a brand new standalone RTX 4070 Ti GPU (RTX 4070 Ti starts at $700 on Amazon). Even with the release of the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER refresh, the RTX 4070 Ti is still an outstanding card for up to 4K gaming. At this price, it's a better value too.

If you wanted to stick with an NVIDIA card, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is the least expensive GPU we'd recommend for 4K gaming. This is an ideal choice for playing games at high framerates at 1440p or comfortable 4K gaming at 60fps. It's a significant upgrade in performance compared to the RTX 4070 and 3080: about 25% improvement in 4K, 20% in 1440p, and 15% in 1080p. For those of you upgrading from an RTX 30 series card, the jump to an RTX 4070 Ti is huge. The RTX 4070 Ti is about 50% faster than the 3070 Ti that precedes it; in fact, it's about as powerful as the most powerful of the RTX 30 series cards, the RTX 3090 Ti, and at a much more reasonable price.
On the AMD front, at this price the RTX 4070 Ti is even less expensive than the RX 7900 XT ($699.99 on Amazon). A big advantage that the RTX 4070 Ti holds over any of the AMD cards is its support for DLSS 3.0, which offers a rather significant boost in frame rate for games that support it (which is becoming increasingly more common in recently released games) as well as superior ray tracing performance. Ray tracing isn't really a viable option for lower end cards, but the RTX 4070 Ti has enough horsepower that you could feasily enable the feature even at higher resolutions.
The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is also on sale at Dell, but for most people I think the RTX 4070 Ti is the better deal. After the discount from the gift card is applied, the RTX 4070 Ti is $125 cheaper. The RTX 4070 Ti is only 5%-10% more powerful. It does have an extra 4GB of VRAM, which might be useful for some.
This PNY variant features a rugged triple fan active cooling with an aluminum backplate with a passthrough design that allows one of the fans to flow through for ambient air movement. As a side effect, it also helps to cool some of your motherboard components. The ports on this particular GPU are 3x DisplayPort and 1x HDMI 2.1.
