Mad Max High Octane Collection is currently down to just $19.99 at Amazon, $60 off the MSRP. This includes Mad Max, The Road Warrior, Mad Max Beyond, Thunderdome, and Mad Max: Fury Road, alongside over three hours of new and rarely seen documentaries on the Mad Max movies, such as the new Road War documentary on Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior. There's also a Black & Chrome edition of Fury Road that features an introduction by George Miller.
Another neat addition is that Mad Max: Fury Road is included in 4K UHD format, unlike the rest of the films on standard Blu-ray. Fury Road follows Max (Tom Hardy) as he joins forces with Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) against the tyrannical Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne) and his army, leading to a deadly high-speed jaunt across the Wasteland — which made it onto IGN's list of best ever car chases.
The collection would be a fitting purchase for fans awaiting the release of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga on May 24. It's easily one of the year's most anticipated and, to the relief of Mad Max fans, the prequel got an enthusiastic reception at its Cannes Film Festival world premiere last night. Riding on the wave of that and rave reviews, fans also received six minutes of footage of the wasteland prequel film ahead of release.
