Zelda fans will argue forever about whether 2D or 3D Zelda is better, and fair arguments can be made on either side. In the end, the differences in gameplay and styling are unique enough to make the choice purely subjective. While fans can say which 3D Zelda is objectively better than another 3D game, the 3D and 2D Zelda games just can't be compared in the same way.
