Bards are powerful and versatile spellcasters in Dungeons & Dragons. They can fulfill many roles in a party, but they're best suited as charmers, support casters, and secondary combatants. Common stereotypes have them as nothing more than comic relief. However, bards can be as integral to the party as any other D&D class.
