Netflix has shared the first official trailer for Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver from director Zack Snyder.
The trailer, below, comes in at around two minutes and 30 seconds and opens with a very dramatic action scene where the music provides a beat for the carnage like a sci-fi rhythm video game. We also see Djimon Hounsou's Titus give a rousing speech, Anthony Hopkins' robot character Jimmy cutting down enemies, and some intense, close-combat fighting through trenches.
"Rebel Moon Part Two: The Scargiver continues the epic saga of Kora and the surviving warriors as they prepare to sacrifice everything, fighting alongside the brave people of Veldt, to defend a once peaceful village, a newfound homeland for those who have lost their own in the fight against the Motherworld," the official synopsis reads.
Fight or die.

"On the eve of their battle the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight. As the full force of the Realm bears down on the burgeoning rebellion, unbreakable bonds are forged, heroes emerge, and legends are made."
This "first trailer" comes after Netflix released a (nearly two minutes long) teaser for Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver, which arrives April 19, 2024, less than five months after Part 1: A Child of Fire hit Netflix in December 2023. Six hours of director's cut versions will seemingly arrive on the same day in summer 2024 too.
In our 4/10 review of the first film, IGN said: "Zack Snyder's space opera is let down by a derivative patchwork script, mediocre action sequences, and a superficial story."
