Images of LEGO’s unannounced 16-bit Super Mario World set have leaked online.
Jay’s Brick Blog spotted a listing for the Super Mario World Mario & Yoshi set, which is based on Nintendo’s 1990 SNES classic, on a Singaporean LEGO Certified Store. The listing, now removed, included a number of images and an October 1, 2024 release date.

The 1,215-piece set includes a 16-bit caped Mario who rides Yoshi, and what looks like a hand crank that makes Yoshi stick out his tongue. Western pricing is yet to be revealed, but local pricing suggests an approximate $160 cost in the U.S.
An official reveal looks likely at San Diego Comic-Con, which kicks off today, July 25. Attendees have already spotted what looks like a tease for the set at the show.

LEGO and Nintendo have a long-standing relationship that’s seen a number of sets released in recent years, kicking off with the LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Mario Starter Course in 2020. LEGO has also unveiled a few more Mario sets, including The Bowser Express Train set, the King Boo's Haunted Mansion set, and Battle with Roy at Peach's Castle set. In March, LEGO and Nintendo announced that LEGO Mario Kart sets launch in 2025.
