Following the premiere of Secret Invasion, the MCU fandom is divided. The series is an enthralling spy-thriller, but up to the third episode, it has very little to do with the Marvel event from the comics. Some fans enjoy Secret Invasion's fresh take on the Marvel event, but others are disappointed because it doesn't feel nearly as shocking as its comic counterpart. This isn't the first time the MCU was particularly loose when adapting Marvel comic events.
