In Star Wars, the Age of the Republic was a time of growth and change, as the years leading up to its fall were also its most prosperous. This was shown primarily through the Jedi Order as famous names like Kit Fisto, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn rose through the ranks to become Master Jedi. For many, some of their greatest tests came during the Clone Wars, especially for Kenobi, whose Padawan, Anakin Skywalker, turned to the dark side. But another name that was respected among the Jedi was Mace Windu, a wise yet devastatingly powerful fighter.
