The Crucial P5 Plus is a PCIe Gen4 M.2 NVMe SSD that boasts sequential read and write speeds of 6,600MB/s and 5,000MB/s, respectively. It's not the fastest SSD on the market (some SSDs like the Samsung 980 Pro and WD Black SN850X can achieve speeds of over 7,000MB/s), however the difference in speeds will probably be unnoticeable for most people. This drive makes an excellent boot drive for your gaming PC at a really outstanding price point.

For PS5 gamers, something like the Silicon Power 2TB SSD for $89.79 might be cheaper if you factor in the preinstalled heatsink, but you might get more peace of mind by spending just a few extra dollars for a brand that you recognize.
