British television is full of crime thrillers, including fan-favorite shows Luther and Sherlock, showcasing the dark side of London and the unflappable investigators and detectives that solve a variety of gruesome murders. The latest of these is the Apple TV+ original miniseries Criminal Record, created by prolific television writer and producer Paul Rutman. Starring Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo, who both also executive produce the series, Criminal Record follows two clashing police detectives who uncover new details about a presumably solved murder with the actual killer still on the loose.
