Through the years, the Avengers have demonstrated their support for the X-Men and Earth’s Mutant population by forming teams made from a mix of Mutant and non-Mutant heroes. In the past, those “Unity Squads” focused on showing solidarity in the face of anti-Mutant prejudice. Now, in the aftermath of Orchis’ deadly attack on the X-Men’s Hellfire Gala, the Avengers’ new Unity Squad is fighting both for their home and the very survival of their race.
