The Titans have already distinguished themselves from their mentors by going out of their way to help heal the world they live in, rather than just fight off the threats that come after it. However, their willingness to sacrifice for the world has become more evident in Titans #5 (by Tom Taylor, Nicola Scott, Annette Kwok, Wes Abbott). In particular, Beast Boy was revealed to have a surprising, and potentially deadly flaw in his powers that could fundamentally alter him if he isn't careful.
