The Walt Disney Company has been celebrating its 100th anniversary all year long. The historic movie studio has come a long way since Walt's early days and has crafted an archive so rich that it needs its own streaming service in the form of Disney+. The company's brand is now wholly defined by its kid-friendly image, which has been validated by the success of the Disney Parks, alongside the vast array of toys and merchandise. Ironically, despite the juggernaut that Disney has become, it was at risk of completely forgetting how it got to this position.
