As the My Hero Academia manga heads towards its inevitable conclusion, creator Kohei Horikoshi is taking special care to deliver fitting conclusions for character interactions and plot points that have been set up years in advance. The latest to be realized has been Ochaco Uraraka's grand step forward into her heroic identity—a journey that she has shared with the villainess Himiko Toga one way or another. While they came to a despairing end, their joint character arc has highlighted one of the series' most important themes and just might be its best yet.
