Deadpool & Wolverine has officially broken the record previously held by Spider-Man: No Way Home for the most-viewed trailer of all time within 24 hours with over 365 million views.
The much-anticipated film that was previously known as Deadpool 3 is set to be released in theaters on July 26, 2024, and this first trailer was packed with a Secret Wars Easter Egg, X-Men cameos, and so much more. The film is also being hyped up by the likes of X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn, who says Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are "about to save the whole Marvel universe."
All of this and more led to the record-breaking trailer reveal during Super Bowl LVIII. Speaking of breaking records, the Super Bowl that saw the Kansas City Chiefs take down the San Francisco 49ers also earned the title of the most-watched telecast in history.
Circling back to the trailer, Deadpool & Wolverine secured the new milestone by passing the 355.5 million views of the teaser trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home, per Statista. This is a big accomplishment as Spider-Man: No Way Home was so far ahead of the competition, which includes Avengers: Endgame's teaser trailer (289 million), Avengers Endgame's final trailer (268 million), and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (257 million).
