V/H/S was found in the dilapidated house of a creepy old man in 2012 and has grown a following in the horror community as the series of films continued to grow. Being anthologies, not every entry is going to be a winner, but fans became worried by the time V/H/S/99 was released and was noticeably lacking in most areas that had made the films a success. This September, the newest entry in the franchise, V/H/S/85, reinvigorated the franchise that fans were worried was losing steam by going back to the '80s.
