One thing movie fans always look for when there is a new movie release of a beloved property is the Easter eggs and references to the original. The Willy Wonka franchise is no different. It showed with the way the 2005 Tim Burton remake was scrutinized and and compared to the 1971 classic starring Gene Wilder.
