Barbie ties up all its loose ends, but its delightful worldbuilding sets up a handful of opportunities for a sequel. The film adapts the many variations of Barbies and Mattel's subsequent products and turns it into a vibrant live-action, following Barbie and Ken as they travel from Barbieland to the real world in search of simple answers, but instead, they engage in an intimate journey of self-discovery that will shake the plastic reality they were used to.
