Update: Meta Communications Director Andy Stone made a new post on X/Twitter saying that the company has "resolved the issue." IGN has independently verified that all Meta platforms, including Facebook and Threads, are working properly again.

If you were having issues trying to log into one of your Meta accounts, whether it was your Quest VR headset to play a quick session of Beat Saber or to add a post on Facebook in the last hour, it's not you; it's Meta as the tech giant is currently experiencing varying degrees of issues.
IGN's sister site, DownDetector, notes that around 10 am, all Meta-owned platforms began reporting widespread outages.

Facebook is logging people out of their accounts. Instagram is having various issues, from some being unable to refresh their feeds to others, such as myself, being unable to see their Follower/Following lists, and not seeing the posts on my profile.
Meanwhile, Threads, Meta's Twitter/X competitor that launched last year, has not logged anyone out of their accounts; the app, both on mobile and desktop, won't work at all. Opening the mobile app, for example, won't properly display or refresh feeds, and users cannot access their posts.
While Quest owners are having issues logging into their VR headsets. The issues with Meta Quest headsets come at an ironic time as just a day prior, Meta sent out emails to some Quest owners, warning them that if they do not integrate their Oculus account into a Meta account by March 29, they are at risk of losing access to all their data, including all their games, DLC, store credits and achievements.

In a post on X/Twitter, Meta Communications Director Andy Stone said that the company is "aware" that people are experiencing issues accessing their various Meta platform accounts and is "working on this now."
