My Adventures with Superman pulls off a superb bit of misdirection in Season 1, Episode 4, "Let's Go to Ivo Tower, You Say." Throughout the early season, the new animated series has delivered radical new versions of The Man of Steel's enemies, including "Let's Go's" mash-up of Professor Ivo and Parasite. But in the middle of it all, it slips perhaps the most important villain of all under the radar. Sharp-eyed DC fans noted Ivo's redheaded assistant Alex, a put-upon minion responsible for running his employer's high-tech toys. While unconfirmed as of this writing, "Alex" looks far too much like a protean Lex Luthor to be a coincidence.
