Ever since Johnathan Hickman, Pepe Larraz, R.B. Silva, and Marte Gracia changed the Marvel universe forever with their twin miniseries, House of X and Powers of X, and kicked off the beloved Krakoan Era for the X-Men, one question has been on fans' minds: How long can it last? Since 2019, fans have been enraptured with the new and energizing status quo, filled with beauty, intrigue, and stories truly unlike any other. Every bit of excitement, however, has always been tinged with concern about when Marvel will decide to reset things to a more familiar status quo.
